Still sick, darn it...

And here I thought I was getting better...

Day Five of the Cold From Hell, and I'm actually missing school today. I don't think I'm going to band practice, either. What's the point? I'm coughing so hard I've almost lost my voice, my ears aren't working as well as they usually do, and my mind has a fuzzy quality to it that isn't usually there. Therefore, I'm not precisely in a good state to try to decipher Middle English (bad spelling and all) or talk about Pre-Revolution America.

Thank the Gods that I only have two classes today and that I'm picking up the new pipe music fairly quickly. Still, it'll be a relief when I can get back to my usual self. Right now I feel like a huge and thick invisible wet blanket has been wrapped around me and I can't wrestle out of it.

At least the sore throat's gone except what's caused by the coughing, though. =P
