Blame Kyle and Dave for my music choice today. They're the ones who introduced me to the music of MacKeel. =)

Anyway, I'm cheerful because it's my birthday and it's going to be a very busy evening, what with my tutoring job, an extra choir practice and a Phats practice. I don't like it when my family makes a big deal of my birthday--after all, it's not like I actually did anything that day, I just got born and my mom and the nurses and doctor were the ones doing all the work--and today they won't have the chance. Whee! =)

Of course, that won't stop them from doing something tomorrow, I'm sure. But really, I've never been one for being the centre of attention unless it's something to do with music. =)

Other than that, life's been busy. (As if it's ever anything but!) I've got a lot of essays and book reviews to do for my classes on top of the responsibilities of the choir library and as a bagpipe teacher. And of course the Phats have been getting more serious about practice these last two months, practicing Wednesdays and Saturdays. All in all, I think I'm pretty content. =)

Now, if only the mechanic would get my mom's car fixed today as he was supposed to have it done by last night...
