pennfana | A great time was had by all...even me! =)

Well, that was fun...last night, I went out with friends to celebrate Kes' birthday, and it was great. =) (No, I'm not just saying this.) Almost all the old crowd was there, save for one or two who couldn't make it and a few whose friendship didn't last this long. It was almost like old times; guess it made me a bit nostalgic, but whatever. As far as I could tell, we all enjoyed ourselves. =)

This was, actually, the first time in slightly over two years that I actually enjoyed going out to a bar. (Being my usual non-drinking self who can't dance, I don't tend to hang around those places.) I won't spoil my mood by trying to analyze why I suddenly managed to enjoy myself last night; for now, I'll just accept it.

I will say, though, that since September it's been like I've been allowing myself to live again, like I'm back on track...if I'm not mistaken, I somehow got off-track (in some ways, at least) sometime in September 2002. Guess I'm a bit more like me again, albeit an improved version. =)

Anyway, back to the subject. Last night was fun, and though my ears weren't thanking me by the time I left (about 1:45 AM or so, about 2 hours after I'd planned to go), it was definitely worth it. =)
